Job Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and leaders in designated business units. The Senior HRBP partners closely with leaders to build high-performing teams, strengthen leadership capability and create an environment where employees can thrive and deliver meaningful results. In addition to core HRBP responsibilities, this role partners on high-impact special projects such as succession planning, talent development and culture. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Human Resources.
Primary Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of employment laws to exercise independent judgement and discretion when serving as the primary point of contact for assigned groups
- Support change management initiatives and cultural transformation efforts
- Develop and facilitate trainings on various topics
- Own updates to compliance related documents: including but not limited to the compliance spreadsheet, termination documents, as well as federal state, local and international employment regulations
- Collaborate with the CHRO and Senior HR Manager on complex HR related projects
- Assist with LinkedIn learning administration
- Mediate conflict and responds to urgent ER issues, in the absence of the Sr. HR Manager
- Ensure employment compliance and all company policies are administered accordingly.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, establishes trust and credibility, and act with complete integrity.
- Show strong attention to detail and capability to identify and define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions that lead to recommendations and solutions to meet the needs of our fast-growing business.
- Collaborate with our leaders to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and impact.
- Participate in the implementation of Human Resources policies, programs, practices, and processes and communicating so employees and managers clearly understand purpose and expectations
- Strengthen leadership effectiveness, by ensuring people leaders are demonstrating leadership competencies and modeling our fundamentals while developing and growing their employees.
- Ensure consistent interpretation of company policies and procedures, practices and principles relating to employee relations and risk management; counsel and advise management and recommend approaches to prevent and resolve problems.
- Deliver outstanding service at all times, including proactively anticipating needs, maintaining frequent and professional communication, and responding quickly to any questions, directives, or service requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- 8+ years of HR Generalist experience with working knowledge of multiple Human Resource disciplines including employee relations, performance management, talent development, federal, state, local and employment laws
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related discipline required
- Demonstrated HR functional knowledge and skills (PHR or SHRM-CP preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of business priorities
- Basic report writing and analysis in order to provide support and form conclusions.
- Proven oral and written communication abilities with the demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- PC proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and Talent Management Systems
- Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Track record of being a self-starter with the ability to focus on tactical execution to get the job done. Agile; can easily adapt to a changing environment or shifting priorities
- Strong team player, willing to learn and take on new projects and responsibilities

- Must have high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption or noise
- Ability to be on camera when attending work related trainings, meetings and/or events
- Must be able to sit or stand at desk for prolonged periods of time while working on a computer

- The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
