HR Director – Software Development & Information Technology

We are seeking a visionary HR Director to lead people strategy across a fast-growing organisation transforming the way cities and citizens move. This senior leadership role will be responsible for shaping and delivering the company’s global HR strategy — spanning talent acquisition, organisational development, employee engagement, and culture transformation — in line with rapid business expansion across Europe and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver a people and culture strategy aligned to the company’s growth objectives and operational priorities.
- Partner closely with the CEO, CTO, and VP-level leaders to influence organisational design, leadership development, and workforce planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all HR matters — from succession planning and change management to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
- Shape the company’s employer brand to attract top talent from technology, operations, and transport industries.
Talent & Organisational Development
- Lead and evolve the talent acquisition strategy to support large-scale project delivery and international expansion.
- Design and implement leadership development and performance frameworks to build capability across all levels.
- Embed a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and innovation.
- Partner with operational and technical leaders to ensure workforce readiness for next-generation mobility solutions.
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention across multiple European locations.
- Lead internal communication programs and recognition initiatives that reinforce company values.
- Champion a diverse, inclusive, and values-led culture, where people feel empowered to innovate and contribute.
HR Operations & Governance
- Oversee all aspects of HR compliance, employment legislation, and risk management across jurisdictions.
- Develop and maintain scalable HR systems and processes to support an expanding workforce.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and reward frameworks to ensure fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor HR analytics and metrics to inform data-driven decision making.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 10–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience within technology, engineering, transport, or operationally complex sectors.
- Proven success leading people and culture transformation in a scaling or international organisation.
- Experience supporting multi-country teams and navigating European employment frameworks.
- Strong track record of partnering with executive leadership teams to drive organisational change.

Education
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline (CIPD or equivalent preferred).
- Postgraduate or executive-level HR/leadership qualifications advantageous.
