LHH is seeking a bilingual Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations at a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience owning the day-to-day HR while leading and developing your HR team. You will manage employee engagement, leadership coaching and training, and talent management. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and be passionate about building a strong, inclusive workplace culture.
This role is 100% onsite and the site has first and second shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability.
- Administer and optimize the company’s 401(k) plan, ensuring compliance and employee education.
- Develop and implement compensation strategies aligned with market trends and internal equity.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee talent management processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and internal policies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR matters.
- Maintain accurate HR records and manage HRIS systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- 3+ years of Union experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of benefits, compensation, and employment law.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred.
