Human Resources Manager - On-Site, Mclean, VA
Our client is a rapidly growing advanced technology company that is seeking an HR Manager to establish and lead its U.S.-based HR function in McLean (Tysons Corner), Virginia. Their product is already deployed and expansion is accelerating quickly.
This is a high-visibility, fully onsite role within a scaling organization expanding its U.S. footprint. The HR Manager will own and build the U.S. HR infrastructure, partnering directly with local leadership while coordinating with HR at the overseas headquarters.
What You’ll Do:
You will be responsible for establishing and owning the U.S.-based HR function, including:
- Full employee lifecycle ownership
- Building and refining onboarding and offboarding processes
- Benefits administration and employee support
- Performance review cycle coordination
- HR compliance, documentation, and policy implementation
- Employee relations guidance
- Employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Creating scalable HR processes as the U.S. team grows
This role requires someone comfortable rolling up their sleeves, implementing structure, and operating independently in a fast-moving environment.
What They’re Looking For:
- U.S. Citizen (mandatory due to regulatory requirements)
- 5+HR Op years of progressive HR experience
- Strong employment law and HR compliance knowledge
- Experience in growth-stage or scaling environments
- Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful
- Comfortable working onsite daily in McLean / Tysons Corner
