A leading international games developer is looking for a creative and passionate Senior HR Business Partner to join their recently established North American studio in Boston. You’ll play a key role in shaping culture and supporting teams across the US and Canada.

Responsibilities
- Partner closely with studio leadership (Managers, Directors, VPs) to deliver creative HR solutions that support collaboration and growth.
- Assess team development needs and lead training initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Provide guidance on employee engagement, organizational design, performance management, and compensation across the US and Canada.
- Drive improvements in employee experience (onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, organizational changes, etc.) while helping build the North American HR function.
- Collaborate with global HR colleagues across multiple regions to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Oversee the full employment lifecycle for both remote and onsite hires.
- Stay current with HR laws and regulations across US and Canadian markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree or HR certification).
- 5+ years of HR experience in organizations of 300+ employees.
- Experience in the gaming, tech, or entertainment sector strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment law across US and Canada.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with the ability to adapt quickly.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP or similar).
Nice to Have:
- Genuine interest in video games and the games industry.
- Familiarity with the North American game development market.
- International HR experience, working across multiple time zones and cultural settings.
