The Role:
The Human Resource Director will serve as a hands-on leader and a strategic business partner to the firm’s leadership. This person will oversee all HR functions across multiple offices, with a strong emphasis on recruiting top talent, building culture, and ensuring global compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of global HR (recruitment, relations, performance, compensation, compliance, culture)
- Execute hiring strategies for legal & professional talent
- Standardize HR policies across offices
- Oversee onboarding & training programs
- Champion DEI initiatives
- Build trusted relationships with staff and partners
- Deliver quarterly HR performance updates
- Administer and interpret candidate assessments, including Kolbe and PRINT surveys
- Coordinate and manage the firm’s professional liability and practice insurance globally, ensuring compliance and coverage across all jurisdictions

Qualifications:
- 8+ years HR leadership (law firm/global org preferred)
- Strong recruitment expertise
- Global compliance knowledge (US, UK, Japan a plus)
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial operator
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated success with DEI, culture, and engagement initiatives
- Certification in or willingness to become certified with Kolbe and strong knowledge of PRINT® interpretation
- Experience coordinating professional liability or practice insurance programs a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced HR certification preferred
