HR Coordinator works with a highly collaborative team as an integral member of the HR Shared Services team and provides support to the HR team. They will independently lead projects while providing critical support to employees. This role frequently liaises with other teams and will experience broad exposure across the company. Incumbent must have strong attention to detail, good customer service, strong technical skills, be able to multitask and work independently. This role will be office based in our Washington DC office.
What your impact will look like:HR Shared ServicesManage HR Inbox/ HR tickets within UKG (HRIS) system. Resolve general employee questions as part of the centralized HR Shared Services team, working with the appropriate team members to route and resolve more complex employee questions. Support with process audits for global HR processesHandle pre-boarding tasks and follow-up: recruiter confirmations, form collection, new hire notifications, welcome emails, notifications to ITManage New Hire checklist and schedulesEnsure I-9 form completion and accuracy with onboarding new employees in weekly orientation. Conduct monthly Audits to ensure the integrity of the I-9s. Draft PowerPoint Presentations; and write, revise and update content for the HR intranet. Perform unemployment claim processing. Complete verification of employment as neededComplete assigned administrative tasks and projects including document review, preparation and/or distribution, data entry, internet researchWork with SMEs to update the Employee Handbook annually. Ensure new laws/legislation/updates are incorporated. Manage the updates to align with annual compliance training or more frequently as needed. Track and log terminating employees equipment returnAd-hoc administrative/compliance activitiesProgram ManagementMaintain a professional, positive, welcoming, and orderly environment throughout the officeOversee front desk reception including greeting and directing guests, monitoring the visitor log and issuing visitor badgesReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packagesMaintain office vendor and building maintenance relationships and requestsConduct general office management tasks:Monitor, order and maintain office, kitchen, first aid, and housekeeping suppliesMaintain neat, well organized, and tidy office space including front desk and common areasCollaborate with a wide range of teams to support projects and events on an ad hoc basis
