Their Northern Virginia based office, is seeking an HR Director who will lead all aspects of employment, compensation, recruiting, training, staff planning and development, benefits, employee relations and compliance. Overseeing a team of two, the HR Director will support national and global strategic initiatives and work closely with senior leadership to align their HR strategy with the business.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
- Work with corporate and local senior leadership to deploy Human Resource strategy and alignment of goals.
- Design and coordinate planning activities for all Company departments.
- Lead and oversee recruitment activities including interviewing senior personnel.
- Provide guidance and direction for training activities at all Company locations.
- Direct compensation & benefits activities to include job analyses, position descriptions, salary administration, performance appraisal and other employee benefits.
- Carry out other projects as directed by the CEO.
Skills / Experience Required:
- 10+ years’ progressive experience in government contracting environment, covering all aspects of HR functions.
- At least 5 years in a senior supervisory position
- Minimum of BS in Human Resources or equivalent discipline.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is strongly preferred.
Compensation Range: $140,000 - $160,000
