We are looking for a proactive and approachable Human Resources Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Beverly Hills, California. This contract position is around 2–3 months and provides a fantastic opportunity for individuals at the beginning of their HR career to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. Hours are 9-5, onsite Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
• Assist employees with resetting passwords in the ADP Workforce Now system and resolving basic account access issues.
• Support administrative operations by filing and maintaining accurate records.
• Digitize documents through scanning to facilitate the transition to paperless systems.
• Enter and update employee information in the HR database with precision.
• Ensure compliance with onboarding processes and assist in gathering necessary documentation.
• Conduct background checks and verify employee credentials as part of hiring procedures.
• Address employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Workforce Now, is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and management.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly valued.
• Knowledge of onboarding processes and employee relations is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of background checks and compliance regulations.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist in various HR tasks.
