Position Overview
The team is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to join the HR function in a leadership capacity and support a growing workforce. This role will serve as a key member of the leadership team, driving HR initiatives that align with business goals and enhance employee engagement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives and workforce planning
- Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts
- Oversee employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Drive performance management, training, and leadership development programs
- Partner with plant leadership to foster a positive and productive workplace culture
- Manage compensation, benefits, and HRIS systems
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Lead and mentor the HR team across multiple locations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
