We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bilingual Spanish HR Manager to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis in Baldwin Park. This role will oversee day-to-day HR operations while partnering with leadership to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR systems, policies, and best practices for a growing organization.
• Partner with ADP to manage HRIS, payroll, and benefits programs efficiently.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for new hires.
• Coach and support managers with leadership development, performance reviews, and employee relations.
• Design and deliver ongoing leadership and team management training for supervisors and team leads.
• Create and track performance metrics across departments—warehouse, sales, drivers, and purchasing—to measure productivity, accountability, and overall team effectiveness.
• Help define and strengthen company culture by aligning programs with company mission and core values.
• Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation, reports, and records.
• Stay current on HR trends, employment laws, and workforce development practices.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum five years of hands-on HR experience with increasing responsibility, demonstrating the ability to lead and make independent decisions.
• Proven track record of taking ownership of HR operations and implementing effective systems and programs without requiring close supervision.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, employment law, and compliance.
• Demonstrated success in coaching and developing managers and team leaders.
• Confident, proactive, and able to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Skilled in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in food distribution or related industries preferred, not required.
