Description
This is a temporary on-site role for an Interim Human Resources Director/Manager. The individual will oversee Human Resources operations, including implementing HR policies, managing recruitment efforts, addressing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and advising city leadership on organizational development and workforce strategies.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources policies, employment laws, and compliance practices, including labor law and workplace regulations.
- Experience in performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and lead by example in fostering an inclusive culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree or HR certification highly preferred.
- Experience in public sector or government roles is a strong plus.
