The Associate Human Resources Advisor provides a wide range of support to the business in various areas of Human Resources, with an emphasis on employee relations and matters, performance management, and compensation. This role will work closely with their assigned client groups to advise on people-related matters and drive people-related initiatives. The Associate Human Resources will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, HR Analytics, and Learning & Development to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for employees to assist with employee-related issues
- Advise employees on how to navigate workplace matters, partnering with Legal as needed
- Educate employees on the enforcement of firmwide policies and procedures
- Work with Senior HR Advisor and managers to appropriately manage the employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Conduct exit interviews with departing employees and share key takeaways with managers
- Provide ongoing guidance on performance-related matters to managers and employees, particularly during firmwide formal review cycles occurring at the mid-year and year-end marks
- Advise managers on delivering performance feedback and using performance to inform promotion and year-end compensation decisions
- Partner with Senior Human Resources Advisor on employee investigations
- Communicate and process staffing-related personnel changes (e.g., relocations, transfers, organization structural changes)
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on compensation and the candidate offer process
- Collaborate with Senior HR Advisor to participate in annual compensation surveys and to analyze results
- Assist in guiding business heads through year-end compensation decisions
- Partner with Senior HR Advisor, HRIS, and Compensation teams on the year-end process (compensation, promotions, ratings) to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Work on special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-2 years of experience working in Human Resources, experience in the financial services is preferred

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 per year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. In addition, this position may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, and other compensation programs as applicable. Eligible employees may participate in a 401(k) program with a generous profit-sharing contribution, medical, prescription dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; disability coverage; paid holidays; vacation; and sick time, subject to plan terms and Company policies.
