We are partnering with a highly regarded, global investment firm to identify a Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their New York team.
This is a high-impact role supporting both front office and senior leadership teams, offering broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to influence talent strategy, performance management, and employee engagement within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
The Opportunity
This individual will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving key HR initiatives while managing complex employee relations matters and supporting a range of talent processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to senior stakeholders across multiple business units
- Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and investigations
- Lead and support performance management, promotion cycles, and talent development initiatives
- Partner with leadership on organizational planning, retention, and employee engagement strategies
- Support HR projects and initiatives, including reporting, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration
- Provide guidance on best practices and ensure consistency in HR policies and processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years of HR Business Partner or generalist experience
- Prior experience within financial services required (asset management, hedge fund, private equity, or similar)
- Strong background in employee relations and performance management
- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Workday

Compensation
$170,000 – $200,000 base salary + bonus
