Position: Human Resources Director

Human Resources Director Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment efforts with hiring managers, interviews, and assists with the final decision process for exempt and non-exempt support staff
- Conduct new employee orientation and processes all change of status forms
- Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
- Provide guidance and support to managers in implementing HR policies and procedures
- Oversee day-to-day HR administration of new hires, transfers, terminations
- Coordinates and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind the separation, as appropriate
- Stay current on recent federal and state law changes and monitors updates that affect HR to ensure compliance
- Communicate changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed
- Manage, facilitate, and conduct performance reviews, makes recommendations regarding compensation based on merit
- Administer the Firm's benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, FSA, and various other programs
- Manage, administer, and provide support to Firm management and employees regarding policy interpretation and implementation of STD, FMLA, and LTD programs
- Responsible for benefits enrollments, claims resolution, change reporting, etc
- Assist with administration of 40l(k) and profit-sharing programs, including the processing of loans and distribution requests, and statements
- Year-end reconciliation audits and reports
Human Resources Director Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business or equivalent
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior law firm experience required
- Experience and working knowledge of Human Resources principles, policies and procedures, employment law (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.), employee benefits administration and regulations, employee compensation, and employee relations
- Must have excellent interviewing skills
- Computer proficient with experience and working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, MS Word
- Working knowledge of ADP Benefits
- Supervisory/managerial skills necessary to interact and communicate with subordinates, provide instruction/direction/training, determine work priorities, and coordinate the activities of a work team
