A high-growth, venture-backed AI-driven technology company (currently in stealth mode) is seeking a Senior HR Manager to build and scale the People function during a critical growth phase.
This organization is redefining how AI integrates into enterprise environments and is assembling a high-performance team to support rapid expansion. The Senior HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping culture, infrastructure, and talent strategy from the ground up.

The Opportunity
You will own HR end-to-end for a fast-scaling, mid-sized organization. Partnering directly with executive leadership, you will design and implement people strategies that enable performance, accountability, and long-term growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong HR fundamentals with a modern, AI-forward mindset — leveraging technology, analytics, and automation to improve speed, insight, and execution while maintaining strong human judgment and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Organizational Design
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, org design, and long-term people strategy.
- Build scalable HR policies, frameworks, and operating rhythms aligned with rapid growth.
- Strengthen a culture rooted in clarity, accountability, and high performance.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as a trusted advisor on complex and sensitive employee matters.
- Lead investigations and provide balanced, data-informed recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with federal and Texas employment laws and internal governance standards.
HR Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee benefits administration and open enrollment.
- Own onboarding and offboarding workflows, HRIS management, and documentation standards.
- Improve operational efficiency through thoughtful application of HR technology, analytics, and automation.
Performance Management & Talent Development
- Design and manage performance review cycles and goal-alignment frameworks.
- Partner with leaders to drive coaching, feedback, and leadership development.
- Guide performance improvement plans and follow-through with consistency and clarity.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across technical, operational, and business functions.
- Build efficient, high-quality hiring pipelines in a competitive AI talent market.
- Elevate candidate experience through structured communication and streamlined processes.
Ideal Background
- 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within high-growth or technology-driven organizations.
- Strong foundation in employee relations, compliance, HR operations, and benefits.
- Demonstrated success building or maturing HR systems and processes from the ground up.
- Experience supporting technical or product-oriented teams preferred.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification is a plus.
