Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to partner with our Corporate Functions as a strategic HR leader and trusted advisor. This role collaborates closely with leaders and teams to deliver thoughtful, high-impact HR support that aligns to business goals, enhances team effectiveness, and adapts to the evolving needs of the organization. Corporate Functions include Finance, Technology Services, Marketing, and Legal. Two HR Manager roles are open, and each role will support two of the four functions.
This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week based out of our North Dallas office location in Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serves as a trusted advisor by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the business, current and future priorities, talent needs, and organizational culture.
- Leads the design and execution of the people strategy for our Corporate Functions, ensuring HR initiatives directly support business priorities.
- Advises and influences leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession management, and team optimization.
- Supports integration activities for functional teams.
- Leads talent planning cycles and partners with leaders to build robust pipelines, development pathways, and capability-building programs.
- Coaches leaders to strengthen people leadership capabilities, embedding a culture of accountability, inclusion, and performance excellence.
- Oversees performance management processes, ensuring consistency, fairness, and alignment with organizational expectations.
- Handles complex employee relations matters, conducting or guiding investigations with objectivity and thoroughness.
- Advises leaders on strategies to enhance engagement, morale, retention, and overall team effectiveness.
- Partners cross-functionally to promote a positive, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Leads change management efforts in partnership with business leaders, providing frameworks, communication strategies, and transition support.
- Anticipates business shifts and proactively recommends HR solutions to support transformation and organizational growth.
- Uses data analytics to identify trends, diagnose issues, and drive decision-making related to talent, engagement, and overall organizational health.
- Ensures HR policies, processes, and practices are applied consistently and aligned with legal requirements and internal standards.
- Partners with Centers of Excellence to deliver seamless HR support.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years as an HR Business Partner in a large, complex organization.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
- HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
- Ability to link people strategy with business strategy, driving measurable results.
- Strong consulting, coaching, and influencing skills; able to navigate ambiguity and lead through complex situations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data, anticipate risks, and recommend strategic actions.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, executive presence, and presentation delivery.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Solid experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
