Overview:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance, engaging and managing our HR processes and operational policies within our corporate office. This role will report to the VP of Human Resources. This role is located out of our corporate office in New York.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as HR Business Partner to the NY corporate team, providing guidance on employee relations, organizational development, and talent planning.
- Oversee HR operations processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across employee records, data integrity, and reporting.
- Partner with benefit brokers to manage benefits programs, including annual open enrollment, and serve as primary point of contact for benefits-related questions.
- Administer leave of absence processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead the performance management cycle, partnering with managers and employees to support goal setting, feedback, and evaluations.
- Conduct and oversee exit interviews and stay interviews; analyze feedback to identify themes and recommend actions.
- Prepare, manage, and deliver HR reporting and metrics to support data-driven decision making.
- Partner with leadership to design and execute ad hoc learning and development projects to support employee growth and engagement.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance, engagement, and retention.
- Manage, mentor, and develop one direct report.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Hands-on ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred; proficiency in HRIS and HR reporting tools required.
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration, open enrollment, performance management, leave of absence processes, and HR compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
The salary range for this role is between $115,000 and $125,000. The relevant salary range will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
