We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) with a strong background in employee relations (ER) to support our client's people strategy, and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees. This is a hybrid role, that will be three days a week onsite in Seattle. The HR Business Partner will focus heavily on managing complex ER matters, coaching managers, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, exceptional communication skills, and a balanced, empathetic approach to resolving workplace issues.
Responsibilities:
• Manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies.
• Conduct thorough investigations into workplace matters, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Develop, implement, and refine HR policies to align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Partner with leadership teams to drive strategic HR initiatives that enhance employee performance and satisfaction.
• Utilize HR metrics and reporting to identify trends and inform decision-making processes.
• Oversee performance management processes to support employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate on labor relations strategies to promote a positive workplace environment.
• Provide guidance on HR strategy and administration, including the use of Workday HRIS.
• Deliver training and support on HR best practices to managers and employees.
• Support organizational change management efforts by addressing workforce concerns and opportunities.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations.
• Expertise in HR policies, investigations, and compliance practices.
• Strong knowledge of performance management and HR strategy development.
• Proficiency in HR systems, particularly Workday HRIS.
• Ability to analyze and interpret HR metrics and reporting.
• Experience in labor relations and fostering positive employee environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations.
