We are currently recruiting a Senior HR Manager, North America for our international client Variosystems, based in Southlake, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to lead HR operations across the U.S. and Mexico, manage HR teams across the region, and partner closely with the VP North America, the North America Management Team as well as the global HR organization. The role offers a clear development path into a Director-level HR position as the organization continues to grow.
Role Overview
The Senior HR Manager, North America leads all Human Resources activities across the U.S. and Mexico and plays a central role in shaping a strong, reliable HR foundation for a growing organization. This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and visible results, with the freedom to professionalize, stabilize, and elevate HR operations in close partnership with regional leadership.
The initial focus is on operational excellence, execution discipline, and ensuring organizational readiness, while actively embedding consistent performance management and learning processes and creating transparency around roles, compensation, and HR practices. As HR execution reaches consistently high standards, the role is designed to evolve toward increased strategic scope at Director level, offering long-term development and influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as HR Business Partner to the VP North America and regional leadership team
- Lead, coach, and develop HR teams in the U.S. and Mexico
- Own recruitment, onboarding, and talent development activities
- Ensure accurate payroll, competitive compensation, and effective benefits administration
- Manage employee relations, labor law compliance, and health & safety programs
- Drive performance management, learning initiatives, and organizational development
- Ensure effective use of HR systems, data accuracy, and process harmonization
- Collaborate closely with global HR on initiatives and local execution
Candidate Profile
- Senior HR professional with strong operational and business-partnering experience
- Background in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
- Experience working in international, matrix-organized organizations (European HQ a plus)
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, resilient, with high emotional intelligence
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor law; Mexico exposure is a plus
- Experience with ADP required; SAP experience is a plus
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
- Willingness to travel to Mexico on a regular basis
