Position Summary
The Director HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for senior leaders, particularly on decisions related to US employment law. This role drives workforce strategy, organizational performance, and employee experience by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. The HRBP will lead workforce planning, talent management, performance frameworks, and employee engagement programs while ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Act as the first point of contact for senior leaders on HR decisions, US labor law compliance, and people matters.
- Partner with business leaders to drive organizational performance and workforce strategy.
- Align HR programs with business goals to support growth and transformation.
Talent & Workforce Management
- Manage HRIS data, personal files, and senior-level performance scorecards.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition (TA) to oversee hiring and contractor requirements.
- Analyze workforce needs and maintain cost vs. deliverables matrix for workforce optimization.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives to identify and close capability gaps.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Enhance employee experience by aligning initiatives with organizational values and culture.
- Facilitate senior-level onboarding and “new joiner connects” for cultural integration.
- Serve as the primary HR contact to explain organizational values, strategy, and people practices.
Performance & Capability Development
- Partner with leaders to implement performance dialogues, feedback, and development plans.
- Track performance scorecards and ensure accountability at senior levels.
- Support leadership development and capability-building programs.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders to influence people decisions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Provide actionable HR insights and recommendations to drive business results.
Experience
- 10–12 years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in an HR Business Partner capacity.
- Strong knowledge of US employment law and HR compliance.
- Proven expertise in workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Experience in partnering with senior leaders within multinational or high-growth organizations.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are desirable.
