Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive construction company in
Smyrna in their search for a
Director of Human Resources. This is a
DIRECT HIRE opportunity which requires in-office work.
Only candidates who live in the metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia, USA area will be considered since in-office work is required.
Responsibilities:- Manage strategic oversight for company's HR functions
- Collaborate with leadership to define staffing and retention objectives
- Lead the implementation of HR policies and processes
- Monitor legal compliance of HR initiatives
- Oversee compensation, performance, benefits, safety and training programs
- Analyze trends in the organization to enhance HR strategies
- Recommend and implement HR process improvements
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business Administration REQUIRED
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred
- Must possess at least 5 years of progressive HR experience with 2 years in the construction, engineering, or manufacturing industry
- Must be proficient in HRIS systems
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable championing DEI initiatives
- Must be motivated to identify areas of improvement and find solutions
- Must be comfortable travelling to project sites to build relationships with field teams
