Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site, and hands on role. The Human Resources Director will oversee and implement HR policies, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with labor and employment law. This role will also involve guiding performance management processes, addressing organizational challenges, and supporting a positive workplace culture that aligns with company goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align HR functions with company objectives will also be a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Strong Human Resources (HR) knowledge and experience managing HR functions
- Proficiency in developing and implementing HR Policies
- Expertise in facilitating Employee Relations and supporting workforce well-being
- Experience with a union is a plus
- Experience managing Performance Management processes and strategies
- Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Fluency in Spanish and/or French is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications such as SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing, or a similar industry is a plus
