A growing organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and elevate its HR function. This fully onsite role will focus on driving HR strategy, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness, while overseeing core areas such as employee relations, benefits, compliance, and talent initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of HR operations, excluding payroll, with a focus on employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy
- Oversee benefits programs and vendor relationships, including brokers and external partners
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support company growth
- Drive performance management processes, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance issues
- Oversee HRIS systems and reporting to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture aligned with company values
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles
- Strong background in HR operations, employee relations, and benefits administration
- Experience managing HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom, etc.)
- Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and influence business decisions
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
