Job Title: Senior Director, Human Resources
Location: Remote (based in California or Texas, highly preferred)
Travel: ~30% per month (up to 50% during initial 4–6 month ramp-up)

Compensation: $210,000 – $225,000 base + up to 10% annual bonus and great benefits
The Senior Director, Human Resources will serve as a senior HR business leader supporting two critical regions within a global, publicly traded enterprise (10,000+ employees).
This role is responsible for two critical regions, driving the full spectrum of HR strategy and execution for a population of approximately 500 employees across multiple U.S. locations and in Europe and Asia, with periodic international engagement.
This role supports a complex, multi-site and multi-state operation of approximately 17 locations, and over 450 employees.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% per month, with increased travel (up to 50%) during initial onboarding period 4 – 6 months)
- Ability to travel across multiple U.S. locations and internationally (Europe and Asia, as needed)
Report to the Corporate Vice President, Health & Human Resources
As Senior Director, Human Resources of the Aerospace Group, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Operating Group President, leading the people strategy to support business performance and long-term growth. In this role, you will focus on talent management, leadership development, employee relations, compliance, benefits program enrollment and communications, employee engagement, at times support bargaining activities, and fostering a positive, high-performance culture across all companies within the group. You will act as the strategic HR Business Leader for the business unit.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a significant portion in large-scale, global enterprises
- Min 5–7+ years of leadership experience managing HR teams in multi-site, multi-state environments
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements, including experience supporting government contract-driven businesses
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, industrial, Warehouse, or similarly operational environments
- Experience supporting business units or divisions of 500+ employees within a larger enterprise framework
- Experience supporting multi-site or group-level operations
- Proven success operating at the Director level, supporting regional or multi-regional business units
- Strong background in publicly traded companies, with understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management practices
- Deep expertise in employee relations, engagement, performance management, and leadership coaching
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong background in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive strategic initiatives
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred

Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic HR leader and partner to the Operating Group President and leadership team
- Manage 4-5 direct reports and serve as HR’s escalation point for all indirect reports within the Group
- Build, lead, and develop strong HR teams and organizational capability
- Participate in enterprise-wide initiatives, projects, and change management efforts
- Lead and execute people strategies that support business performance and long-term growth
- Oversee talent management, leadership development, and succession planning across the Group
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, high-performance culture
- Provide leadership and guidance on complex employee relations matters and organizational challenges
- Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide HR strategies, policies, and practices
- Maintain consistency in employee relations, compliance, and organizational development across all locations
- Partner with Corporate HR and other Group HR leaders to share insights, align on best practices, and support enterprise initiatives
- Shape and enhance the overall employee experience across the Group
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of business and HR objectives
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as regulatory requirements tied to government contracts
While some core HR services such as benefits are managed by Corporate, your leadership will be essential in shaping the employee experience, resolving complex people issues, and building strong, engaged teams. Collaboration is key—you will work closely with HR leaders across other groups to share insights, align on best practices, and support initiatives that strengthen the overall organization.
