Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Director of Human Resources based in Silver Spring, MD. The Associate Director of Human Resources will oversee HR policies, manage employee relations, support performance management, and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws. This position requires both strategic planning and hands-on operational management to support the company's goals and foster a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

Experience working in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry
Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) management and the implementation of HR best practices
Experience developing and maintaining HR policies and processes
Strong expertise in Employee Relations and Performance Management
In-depth knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and regulatory compliance
Proven organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong interpersonal communication and leadership abilities
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; master's degree and HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
