Why This Role Matters
As an
HR Coordinator at LOVING, you'll be a hands-on partner to our employees and leaders across multiple locations and departments. This role sits at the intersection of people, process, and compliance, with a strong focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, and safety documentation. You'll help us grow our team, bring new hires in the right way, and make sure our workforce stays safe, supported, and set up to succeed. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to be considered for this role. It is not optional. It is essential to how we serve our field teams and deliver consistent HR across our operations.
What Success Looks Like
- Talent Acquisition Lead day-to-day recruiting coordination by posting open positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, managing candidate communication, and keeping the ATS accurate and up to date. Support Spanish-language recruiting efforts to reach our field workforce and ensure a consistent, professional candidate experience from first contact to offer.
- Onboarding Own the new hire experience from offer to Day 1 and beyond. Prepare offer letters and new hire packets, coordinate background checks, complete I-9 and E-Verify steps, and conduct orientations in both English and Spanish. Ensure every new hire is accurately entered into the HRIS and payroll systems before their first day, and follow up to confirm a smooth transition into their role.
- Safety and Compliance Documentation Track certifications, organize safety meeting records, and ensure required compliance documents are filed, current, and accessible. Coordinate with field supervisors and operations leaders to keep safety documentation in order and flag gaps before they become problems.
- Benefits and Leave Administration Maintain employee files and support FMLA, OFLA, and leave processes. Help employees navigate benefits questions, assist with open enrollment, and ensure documentation meets federal and state requirements.
- Employee Relations Serve as a first point of contact for HR questions, assist with documentation and follow-up, escalate concerns to HR leadership when needed, and help reinforce a professional, respectful work environment at every level of the organization.
- HRIS and Data Integrity Process employee changes, run routine reports, update records, support audits, and assist with system updates and HR process improvements. Accuracy is non-negotiable in this role.
- Communication and Engagement Support company-wide announcements, distribute materials, assist with training coordination, and translate communications for Spanish-speaking employees. You are often the first HR voice an employee hears. Make it count.
- Administrative and Policy Support Manage digital files, track HR tasks, distribute updated policies, track employee acknowledgments, and help standardize processes across HR operations. Support training scheduling for both field and office teams.
- Workforce Reporting Pull data for headcount, turnover, and compliance checks, and support internal and external audit requests as needed.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned that support the mission and core values of LOVING and our culture of community, integrity, and impact.
What Sets You Apart
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on HR experience across onboarding, recruiting coordination, benefits support, compliance administration, and general employee lifecycle management.

This is a hard requirement, not a preference.
- Proven experience working in an HRIS and ATS, with a strong understanding of data accuracy, workflows, and system functionality. Experience with Rippling or a similar modern platform is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage sensitive information, track compliance documentation, and follow structured processes without error.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with employees at all levels, de-escalate concerns, deliver clear instructions, and represent the HR function with professionalism and approachability.
