We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team for a two-month contract at a global entertainment firm. This role will support the HR department with a variety of tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and other HR-related projects. This is a hybrid position, requiring four days on-site and one day remote each week. Previous experience with Workday is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain HR records in compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate and manage scheduling for interviews, meetings, and onboarding sessions.
• Assist in onboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
• Conduct background checks and ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed.
• Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and escalating issues as necessary.
• Utilize HRIS systems, such as Workday, to manage employee information and generate reports.
• Collaborate on ad hoc HR projects as assigned by the team.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department, including documentation and filing.
• Previous experience in an HR administrative or assistant role.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, particularly Workday.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes and background checks.
• A solid understanding of employee relations and HR best practices.
