We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Long Beach, California. In this role, you will oversee key HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll management. Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive company culture.
• Oversee HR administrative processes, including maintaining and updating employee records.
• Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Handle payroll operations, utilizing systems such as Paychex to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Maintain and manage HRIS systems to track employee data and streamline HR operations.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational standards.
• Utilize Spanish language skills to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce, as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and implement best practices.
• Proven experience in human resources management, with a focus on employee relations and benefits.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll management tools, such as Paychex.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
• Excellent communication skills, including fluency in Spanish.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Experience in onboarding processes and employee engagement initiatives.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
