We are looking for a skilled Compensation Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Irvine, California. In this role, you will contribute to the development and administration of compensation programs that support our efforts to attract, retain, and engage top talent. This position provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with HR leaders and business units to ensure fair and competitive pay practices aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed market benchmarking and compensation analysis to maintain competitive pay structures.
• Administer compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and recognition initiatives.
• Support the annual compensation cycle by preparing data, conducting analyses, and ensuring timely execution.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to address compensation-related inquiries and provide strategic recommendations.
• Assist in the design and implementation of equity administration and deferred compensation plans.
• Conduct regular compensation surveys to gather market data and identify industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing compensation practices.
• Partner with the Director of Total Rewards to align compensation programs with overall business objectives.
• Provide analytical support and insights for broader Total Rewards initiatives.
• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and efficiently.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of compensation practices, including benchmarking, salary structure design, and pay equity analysis.
• Proficiency in conducting market surveys and interpreting data to inform compensation strategies.
• Familiarity with total rewards programs, including equity administration and deferred compensation.
• Advanced analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in payroll processing and related systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
