JSW Steel USA is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team!
The Senior HR Manager plays a critical role in shaping and strengthening organizational culture by leading key human resources functions. This position oversees talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations, ensuring all HR initiatives align with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, focused on enhancing employee experience and driving retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle.
- Design, implement, and oversee the annual performance management process.
- Develop and implement HR policies and strategies to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Build and maintain learning and development programs to support leadership and employee growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Partner with HR leadership to drive best practices and ensure alignment across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in an HR Manager or similar role.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, HR systems, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
- Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
