VP, Human Resources
Eaton Fiber is building a network with future-forward technologies, systems and network architecture that will be ultimately capable of delivering 40Gbps+ to customers. Eaton Fiber is a portfolio company of Tillman Global Holdings, a holding company focused on building premier digital infrastructure businesses globally. We have an incredible opportunity for a VP HR in NYC. This can be a hybrid role (4 days in office). This position will report to the CEO.
Requirements and Responsibilities
- Oversees the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves problems.
- Leads the development of department goals, objectives, and systems. Provides leadership for performance evaluation.
- Participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
- Manages the development and maintenance of the Human Resources sections of both the company website, particularly recruiting, culture, and company information.
- Coordinates all Human Resources training programs and assigns the authority/responsibility of Human Resources and managers within those programs. Provides necessary education and materials to managers and employees including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks, and standardized reports.
- Establishes and leads the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
- Interviews management and executive position candidates; serves as part of the interview team for position finalists.
- Partners with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, and laws.
- Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
- Provides Engagement opportunities for the company.
- Facilitates Benefits administration regarding open enrollment and general benefit concerns.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues and conducts investigations as required or directed from leadership.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
Primary Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 15 years+ experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees.
- Must be able to handle workforce across the U.S.
- HR Generalist background preferred
- Paylocity experience preferred
- Must be able to commute to NYC office and travel as required
