Job Description
Primary Job Function
- Partner with HR leadership to execute the organization’s people strategy, including talent acquisition, retention, engagement, and performance management
- Build strong partnerships with assigned leaders; develop a deep understanding of business needs and proactively identify workforce opportunities and challenges
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness
- Address employee relations matters with professionalism and urgency, ensuring thorough documentation, consistency, and appropriate follow-through
- Support leaders and employees in navigating complex and sensitive situations, including investigations, corrective actions, accommodations, and terminations
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve issues and support key initiatives
- Promote a positive employee experience by strengthening engagement, morale, and retention across teams
- Support and lead onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure consistent and high-quality employee lifecycle experience
- Assist in administering employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, action planning, and reporting
- Identify and support training and development needs for individuals and teams
- Administer leave of absence processes, including FMLA, and support ADA accommodation processes
- Communicate HR policies, benefits, and compliance-related information to ensure understanding and consistency
- Provide guidance on employee questions related to pay, benefits, and HR processes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; support ongoing policy review and updates
- Effectively lead and manage direct reports (if applicable)
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of five years of HR experience.
- Broad knowledge of HR industry practices with demonstrated generalist experience in areas of employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment, and talent development.
- Healthcare experience a plus.
- Workday experience a plus.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
