HR Manager (Payroll & Benefits – U.S. & Canada)
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead payroll operations and benefits administration for our growing organization. This role will oversee payroll for both the United States and Canada while managing employee benefits programs and supporting overall HR operations for a dynamic, medium-sized company based in downtown Miami.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll operations for employees in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll regulations.
- Administer and manage company benefits programs including health, retirement, leave programs, and other employee offerings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits inquiries from employees and leadership.
- Partner with Finance and leadership teams to ensure payroll accuracy, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Manage vendor relationships with payroll providers and benefits administrators.
- Lead benefits open enrollment and ongoing program improvements.
- Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, compliance, and HR operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, with direct responsibility for payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience managing multi-country payroll, specifically U.S. and Canada.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and employment regulations.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
