Our client, an alternative investment firm in Manhattan, is looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner.

This role will require 5 days onsite, in their corporate offices in Manhattan.

This HRBP will join the HR team and support senior business leaders in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives as a trusted advisor, enjoys partnering closely with the business, and brings a strong point of view on talent, performance, and organizational effectiveness.

What You’ll Do

Partner closely with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and deliver HR solutions that drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
Build trusted relationships across the organization and serve as a thoughtful, credible advisor on talent, leadership, and performance matters
Use data, analytics, and market insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and align people strategies with business objectives (e.g., training initiatives, investor diligence requests, operational improvements)
Lead and execute key elements of the firm’s global talent agenda, including performance management, promotions, and talent development
Be a hands-on team player—willing to roll up your sleeves, support colleagues, and contribute to a collaborative, high-impact HR function

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of experience in a strategic, hands-on HR Business Partner role
Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement
Prior experience in financial services required
Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence senior leaders, and translate business needs into effective people strategies

The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $225,000 plus a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
