We are seeking a Temporary HR Generalist to provide operational and administrative support to the Corporate HR Business Partner team. This role will assist with employee relations activities, HR data management, and key HR processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced HR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to the Corporate HR Business Partner team across various HR functions.
- Support employee relations activities, including scheduling and conducting investigation interviews and documenting findings.
- Process position management updates such as new role creation, job reclassifications, cost center changes, supervisor updates, and business unit assignments.
- Submit and track job actions including requisitions, promotions, job changes, and employee terminations.
- Partner with the reporting team to prepare, analyze, and manipulate HR data using Excel.
- Conduct exit interviews and document employee feedback.
- Coordinate and manage employee offboarding activities, ensuring tasks such as equipment return, system access removal, and final pay processing are completed accurately and on time.
- Track Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) timelines, deadlines, check-ins, and required deliverables.
- Serve as a point of contact for coordination with HR Centers of Excellence, including leave management, ADA accommodations, compensation, and employee experience teams.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar HR support role.
- Experience supporting employee relations processes and HR operations.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze HR data.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional HR teams.
