We're looking for a seasoned HR leader who thrives equally in the boardroom and the weeds. As our Human Resources Manager, you'll be the strategic partner firm leadership relies on, and the operational force that keeps our people functions running without a hitch across multiple offices and in a high-stakes legal environment where precision and discretion aren't optional.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who doesn't just build systems, but builds trust.
What You'll Own
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead full-cycle recruitment for specialized roles, paralegals, legal administrative staff, and beyond. You'll develop proactive sourcing strategies, own the interview process, and create onboarding experiences that set new hires up to contribute from day one.
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee firm-wide payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness. Administer health, dental, and retirement benefits, serve as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors, and drive a smooth annual open enrollment process.
Compliance & Employment Law Keep the firm on the right side of Georgia and federal labor law, FMLA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, and beyond. Maintain an employee handbook and policy framework that reflects current legal standards and evolves as those standards change.
Employee Relations & Culture: Serve as a trusted mediator and coach for both staff and leadership. You'll navigate difficult conversations, resolve conflicts, and champion initiatives that drive retention, engagement, and genuine professional growth.
HR Infrastructure & Operations Modernize and manage our HRIS, build internal reporting that gives leadership real visibility, and architect the HR infrastructure a growing firm needs to scale with confidence.
What You Bring
- 7–10+ years of progressive HR management experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services setting
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Deep, working knowledge of Georgia employment law and federal regulatory compliance
- A track record of operating with discretion and sound judgment on sensitive personnel matters
- The communication skills to hold your own with trial attorneys and executive partners
Who You Are
You're not looking for a role where HR is an afterthought. You want a seat at the table and the accountability that comes with it. You move fast without cutting corners, you build relationships without losing objectivity, and you take the work seriously without taking yourself too seriously.
If that sounds like you, we'd like to talk.
