Position Summary: The HR Manager (Client-Facing) serves as the primary HR partner and strategic advisor to assigned clients, ensuring they maximize the value of the ISolved platform while remaining compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws. This role acts as the main point of contact for HR-related inquiries, provides compliance guidance, and delivers training and education to support effective workforce management.
Our goal is to ensure clients have the HR resources and expertise they need so they can focus on running their business while we ensure they remain compliant and supported.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Client Support & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client questions regarding employee matters and the ISolved platform
- Respond to client emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Provide proactive HR guidance and compliance support to business owners and managers
- Ensure client policies, procedures, and decisions align with employment laws and best practices
Leadership Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of HR Specialists
- Delegate and oversee workload to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Provide coaching, training, and performance oversight for direct reports
Compliance & Leave Management
- Oversee all client leave programs (FMLA and non-FMLA)
- Prepare and distribute required paperwork
- Track and manage leaves
- Enter and maintain absence records within ISolved
- Own and manage the ADA interactive process
- Prepare required documentation
- Facilitate the interactive process with clients and employees
- Identify reasonable accommodations that meet business and employee needs
Employee Handbook Management
- Review and update client employee handbooks ensuring they are up to date with state and federal requirements
- Draft new handbooks tailored to client needs
- Consult with legal counsel
- Upload handbooks into ISolved and ensure employee acknowledgment and sign-off
- Ensure handbook policies align with system configurations
Strategic HR Guidance
- Provide guidance on:
- Terminations and Notices of Disciplinary Action (NODA)
- Performance management
- Employee relations matters
- Exempt vs. non-exempt classification
- Independent contractor vs. employee classification
Training & Education
- Develop and deliver leadership and management training sessions as needed
- Conduct and present benefits enrollment meetings
- Provide ongoing education around employee relations and system functionality
System & Platform Support (ISolved)
- Ensure employee handbook policies align with system setup
- Provide ongoing system support and troubleshooting guidance
All other duties assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
· Demonstrates professionalism, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to providing excellent HR support in a fast-paced environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn HRIS and other HR system
· Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
· Adaptable and able to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and compliance
· Prior client-facing or consulting experience preferred
· Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.)
· Experience managing leave administration and ADA processes
· Supervisory experience preferred
· HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate client needs.
· Travel to client sites may be required.
