Overview

Blackhawk Talent is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a growing organization seeking a Human Resources Manager to strengthen people operations and support continued expansion.

This role will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, balancing hands-on HR execution with forward-thinking talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational development

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition strategy

• Manage employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

• Develop and implement HR policies and best practices

• Support compensation planning, benefits administration, and retention strategy

• Lead onboarding and talent development initiatives

Ideal Background

• 5–10+ years progressive HR experience

• Experience in growth-stage or mid-market organizations preferred

• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance

• Experience supporting multi-department teams

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred

• Strong communication and leadership presence
