Position Overview:
The Director of Human Resources plays a critical role in leading and managing the company’s human resources strategy, operations, and initiatives. This individual is tasked with overseeing recruitment efforts and HR operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic planning and workforce planning objectives. The role involves close collaboration with our parent company for benefit administration and payroll processing, ensuring accurate, streamlined, and compliant practices. By fostering a people-centered culture, the Director of Human Resources will support organizational goals while developing and retaining top talent.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Lead company-wide recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with business objectives and future staffing needs.
- Build strong pipelines of qualified candidates by leveraging diverse sourcing channels, including job boards, referral programs, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to clearly define job roles, responsibilities, and qualifications to ensure successful hires.
- Manage employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the market.
- Create and maintain long-term relationships with external recruitment agencies and staffing vendors.
- Use recruitment metrics and analytics to optimize hiring processes and drive decision-making.
HR Operations and Employee Relations:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including policies, compliance, and employee relations.
- Develop and maintain HR processes that align with company objectives and promote a positive employee experience.
- Provide leadership on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement processes.
- Drive HR process improvement and automation to ensure efficiency across HR operations.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Implement and oversee the performance management system to promote employee accountability and development.
- Ensure company-wide adherence to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within HR practices and operations.
- Develop and maintain employee handbooks, HR documentation, and organizational change communication.
Strategic Workforce Planning:
- Lead workforce planning initiatives to align human capital with future business needs.
- Analyze workforce trends and provide insights to leadership to enhance decision-making.
- Provide expertise on organizational design to optimize structures, processes, and talent allocation.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop succession planning strategies and address future leadership needs.
- Utilize HR data, workforce analytics, and industry trends to guide decision-making and planning.
- Proactively develop plans to address retention challenges and improve employee engagement.
- Monitor and forecast workforce demands, ensuring alignment with market competitiveness and operational priorities.
- Partner with leadership to ensure employee training and development programs are effectively supporting talent needs.

- Partner with PEAK6 to ensure efficient and accurate benefit administration and payroll processing.
- Manage employee benefit programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the workforce and align with company goals.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- SHRM-CP preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing recruitment, HR operations, and workforce planning.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Expertise in workforce planning, HR operations, and talent acquisition.
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR tools.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives to organizational goals.
