The Role
As HR Manager (People Operations & Recruiting), you’ll own the execution of HR and recruiting operations while partnering closely with the CEO and executive team on priorities and direction. You’ll manage hiring pipelines, onboarding workflows, and core HR processes that support a growing, field-based workforce, playing a key role in CareCollab’s continued growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who has led recruiting and HR operations before and can bring structure, consistency, and follow-through to a fast-moving organization.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for clinical, field-based, and operational roles
- Post and manage job listings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support offer processes
- Maintain active hiring pipelines and track recruiting activity
- Lead onboarding from offer acceptance through first-day readiness, including background checks and compliance requirements
- Partner with hiring managers to support timely, effective hiring
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR systems
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and healthcare-related requirements
- Administer benefits, leave tracking, and employee inquiries
- Support payroll processes, including timekeeping review and payroll coordination
- Assist with performance management documentation and corrective action processes
- Help maintain and update HR policies and procedures
Partnership & Culture
- Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers
- Partner with the CEO to implement people processes and operational improvements
- Support onboarding, training coordination, and staff development efforts
- Reinforce consistent, professional HR practices across the organization
What You Bring
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of HR experience, with meaningful responsibility for recruiting and onboarding
- Experience hiring for healthcare, human services, or other regulated environments strongly preferred
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple open roles and hiring workflows
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable operating with direction while owning execution
- Strong judgment and discretion with sensitive information
- Proficiency with HRIS/ATS platforms, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office
