Our client is hiring for a full-time HR Operations Specialist. This role is responsible for supporting leave administration guiding employees and managers on policies and compliance, and partnering with payroll/HRIS/vendors to ensure accurate tracking and smooth pay/benefits continuity. You’ll manage a steady volume of employee cases, keep records and reporting tight, and help improve HR processes through clear communication and follow-through. This is a hybrid role in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.
Must-haves
- 3+ years in HR operations, benefits, or leave administration
- Hands-on experience with leave programs (FMLA)
- Vendor coordination experience
- HRIS experience
Preferences
- Nonprofit and/or union exposure
- HR case management/ticketing tools
