Primary Services is excited to announce the role of HR Manager for a large, established company. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to multiple HR functional areas, supporting a diverse employee base while influencing programs, policies, and processes that drive organizational success. The role combines operational, analytical, and strategic HR responsibilities, providing exposure to workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and compensation and benefits within a professional, high-performing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, measure, and recommend improvements for HR programs, processes, and policies across multiple functional areas.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitiveness and compliance.
- Counsel and advise managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Monitor HR trends, best practices, and legislative changes, recommending and implementing adjustments as needed.
- Assist in developing training, development, and talent management programs.
- Support risk management initiatives to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Communicate the company brand to employees, applicants, and talent sources effectively.
- Provide HR data analysis, reporting, and insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve organizational objectives and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience, including exposure to multiple HR functional areas.
- At least 2 years of professional recruiting experience outside of an agency environment.
- Knowledge of HR legislation, compliance, and operational policies.
- Experience with HRMS and proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate Excel skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR programs and processes.
- Experience supporting domestic and international employees preferred.
- Certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SHRM-CP, or GPHR are a plus.
- Availability for travel 100% into the Katy office and domestic travel under 10%.
