Hirewell is partnering with a fast-growing global company to hire their first dedicated HR presence in the United States. This individual will support the North American team and work closely with managers to build strong, engaged teams—coaching them through development, performance, and everyday people challenges.
The HR Partner will lead local HR initiatives, including rolling out people programs, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with U.S. employment laws and benefits. They’ll also collaborate with a global People team to tailor initiatives for the U.S. context and play a key role in shaping how employees are supported.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partner with managers to support team growth, development, and engagement
- Act as a coach and trusted advisor on performance, feedback, and team dynamics
- Manage and advise on U.S. benefits programs (including health insurance) and serve as the go-to for employee questions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for U.S. and Canada-based hires
- Lead or contribute to projects across culture, DEI, and engagement
- Collaborate with the global People team to align practices and share ideas
- Help shape a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in a People Partner / HRBP / HR Manager role
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance
- Solid experience with U.S. benefits administration (especially health plans/insurance)
- Proven ability to coach and support managers on people-related topics
- Background in a fast-paced, high-growth company (preferably tech or startup)
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (HR certification like SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus)
