Position Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic and hands-on support across employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. Acting as both a consultant to leadership and a champion for employees, the Senior HRBP plays a critical role in driving a culture of engagement, supporting organizational change, and implementing HR solutions that align with business strategy.
As a member of the HR Leadership Team, this role partners closely with executives and managers to build workforce capabilities, enhance organizational performance, and deliver best-in-class HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert for HR policy and practice, providing both strategic guidance and tactical support to business leaders and employees.
- Partner with management to coach, advise, and resolve employee relations issues; investigate and escalate legal-related matters appropriately.
- Provide policy interpretation and ensure consistent application across business units.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring expectations are clear, evaluations are completed effectively, and development plans are in place.
- Stay current on HR trends, employment law, and best practices; leverage insights to design innovative HR programs.
- Lead organizational development initiatives to improve team effectiveness, leadership capabilities, and change readiness.
- Develop and execute engagement strategies, including design and analysis of employee engagement surveys, and translate results into action plans.
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on staffing strategies to meet business needs.
- Identify training and leadership development needs; design and implement initiatives to build talent pipelines and strengthen leadership competencies.
- Advise leaders on compensation decisions, job evaluations, and policy interpretation.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, career development, and employee relations.
- Champion HR initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with emphasis on leadership development, talent management, HR strategy, and process improvement.
- Experience influencing and partnering with senior leaders in a complex organizational environment.

- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, organizational behavior, and employment law.
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with ability to engage and influence at all levels.

- Effective project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Certifications
- SPHR certification strongly preferred.
