Director of Human Resources Role
As the Director of Human Resources, you will lead the HR function and manage a team including an HR Generalist and Talent Recruiter. In this role, you will:
Oversee payroll preparation, processing, and distribution.
Manage employee benefits programs, including health, life, workers’ compensation, STD, LTD, and AD&D.
Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, professional development, and promotion efforts.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Provide coaching and guidance to leadership and staff on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
Develop and coordinate new employee orientation and employee engagement programs.
Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation.
Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and accountability across the organization.
Director of Human Resources Background Profile
7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
ADP experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field required
Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Business preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, HRIS, and employment law
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
