We’re looking for an HRBP who thrives on supporting the people aspect of our business. You’ll be pivotal in supporting business leaders and their teams. This position supports and aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
The role reports directly to the VP of HR.
The position is based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring effective implementation of HR initiatives.
- Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting investigations as necessary, and partnering with legal counsel on union-related matters.
- Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development to ensure a skilled and capable workforce.
- Performance Management: Provide guidance on performance management processes, including coaching, feedback, and development plans.
- Organizational Development: Support organizational change initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
- HR Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and drive improvements in key performance indicators.
- Compliance and Policy Guidance: Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies, guiding HR policies and procedures.
- Travel: Available to travel to the corporate headquarters quarterly or as needed.
Qualifications
- MUST: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- MUST: Minimum of 8+ years of HR generalist experience or HRBP experience, with a focus on employee relations.
- Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational analysis, diversity, performance management, and general HR operations.
- Experience in fast-paced, complex industries such as FMCG, manufacturing, industrial, or retail is an advantage.
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to effectively partner with all levels of the organization and positively influence teams.
- Ability to partner effectively with HR service groups.
- Ability to work independently, be proactive on issues, detail-oriented, highly organized, and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet use; working knowledge of HRIS systems and other HR-related software
