Garden Spring Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated
Human Resources Director to join our team! This role is ideal for someone with experience in HR who thrives in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Overview
The HR Director is responsible for supporting all aspects of human resources, payroll administration, and employee services. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance, supporting staff, and helping us foster a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Manage HR systems and maintain accurate employee records.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payments.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts: interview, hire, and onboard new employees.
- Administer benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, and retirement.
- Provide guidance on employee relations and support management with issue resolution.
- Track and report on HR metrics, including retention, turnover, and absenteeism.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend improvements for employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Investigate incidents and prepare required reports.
Qualifications
- Required: Prior Human Resources experience in a long-term care or inpatient healthcare setting.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of benefits management, and employment law.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
