Job Summary
As the HR Business Partner at our Attleboro, MA manufacturing plant (approx. 75-100 employees) you will be responsible for the full suite of HR responsibilities and be a valued partner for the site leadership team. You will advise on organizational design, performance management, and coach leaders on employee relations issues. You will interpret policies and procedures and advise/support leadership in the areas of compensation, organizational development, and talent acquisition.
Main Responsibilities
- Partner with the US HR team to build, deploy, and operationalize HR programs at your site (examples: goal setting, compensation planning, performance management, talent development, leadership coaching)
- Lead and execute the talent acquisition strategy: Recruit, interview, and select future talent
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant
- Build leadership bench strength through coaching and development
- Drive a safety-first mindset, enable a high performing organization, and facilitate engagement activities
- Drive process improvement initiatives through continuous improvement, program management creation and deployment, and leadership development
- Advise leadership and support the talent strategy in the areas of succession planning, forecasting, and operational effectiveness
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive employee experience
- Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
- Engage with employees and respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
- Ensure data integrity with HRIS and payroll systems and provide timely responses to data and reporting requests
- Support the US HR team as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business-field or HR
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR generalist, specialist, or partner
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Organized with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task as required
- Project-management skills
- Time-management skills
- Change-management skills
- Strong MS Office skills
