As the HR Director for Global Operations, you will lead a high-stakes HR strategy across 8 manufacturing plants in the US, UK, and Mexico. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will partner with senior executives to scale operational excellence, optimize supply chain talent, and drive organizational effectiveness across a diverse industrial portfolio.
The Role
• Lead and mentor a direct team of Plant HR Managers across 8 global manufacturing sites, overseeing performance management and strategic talent development.
• Drive HR strategy for Global Operations functions including Manufacturing, HSE, Supply Chain, and Operational Excellence to meet Annual Operating Plans (AOP).
• Spearhead large-scale initiatives in Organizational Design, Change Management, and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to enhance retention and engagement.
• Monitor and optimize HR KPIs including utilization, turnover, absenteeism, and headcount productivity to inform business-critical decisions.
• Manage complex labor relations, including direct involvement in collective bargaining negotiations for unionized workforces.
What You'll Need
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience specifically within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven expertise in labor law compliance (NLRB, FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA) and experience navigating unionized environments.
• Professional certification highly preferred (SPHR, GPHR, or SHRM-SCP) alongside a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR Management.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing senior leadership in a global, matrixed organization.
• Experience managing HR operations for international sites, particularly within Mexico and Europe, is highly desirable.
